Terms of Service
Last updated 18 July 2026
01
Agreement
These terms cover two things: your use of this website, and the general terms that apply once you engage promptly ("we", "us") for a project. Project-specific details - scope, phases, pricing, and timeline - are set out in a separate written proposal or agreement for that project, which takes precedence over anything here if the two conflict.
02
Use of this website
You may browse this site and use the interactive demos to evaluate what a promptly build looks like. Demo data is illustrative only - names, figures, and businesses shown are fictional and not real customer information.
03
Project engagements
Work is delivered in fixed price phases, as described on our Pricing page. A phase is scoped and quoted before it starts; work on a phase begins once that scope and price are agreed in writing.
04
Ownership
On payment for a phase, you own the code, data, and assets produced in that phase. Reusable platform modules that predate your project, and any improvements we make to them, remain part of our shared module library and may be used in other projects.
05
Payment
Payment terms for each phase are set out in that phase's written agreement. Fees already paid for completed, accepted phases are non-refundable; a phase that hasn't started can be cancelled without charge.
06
Warranties
We aim for every phase to work as demonstrated at handover. We don't warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we're not liable for issues arising from changes you or a third party make after handover.
07
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the fees paid for the phase the claim relates to.
08
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the date below reflects the latest version. Terms for an existing project engagement are those agreed at the time, not any later version of this page.
